Social and Environmental Justice Fair on Sunday in Morgantown

>>> From Shelia Rye, Community Coalition for Social Justice (CCSJ), Sept. 12, 2022

The CCSJ is planning a Social and Environmental Justice Fair at the Hazel Ruby McQuain amphitheater downtown Morgantown on Sunday, September 18, 2022 between 2 and 4 p.m. We invite everyone to attend.

We are encouraging local social and environmental groups to participate in this. There is no charge or fee. All you have to do is turn up at 1:30 p.m. with your group materials that you would want the public to see and take away. You can bring a table and chairs if you like.

We also hope to have a schedule whereby you will be able to talk using the sound system about your group for about 5 minutes. At 4 p.m. it will be time to pack up and depart. The CCSJ will be supplying free drinks and some packaged food for all those who attend, both group members and members of the public. Note that there will be no insurance for participating groups.

If you are interested in attending as a group please email CCSJWV@gmail.com so we can plan things appropriately.
