Scientific papers & technical roundtable meeting materials available online

Greetings from the US Environmental Protection Agency — December 20, 2013

EPA scientists are conducting original research and publishing papers that will contribute to the draft report of potential impacts of hydraulic fracturing on drinking water resources, expected to be released in December 2014. The peer reviewed papers are available here. Future papers will be posted as they become available.

In addition, on December 9th, the EPA reconvened the study’s Technical Roundtable. Subject-matter experts discussed the outcomes of the 2013 Technical Workshops, stakeholder engagement, and plans for the draft report. The roundtable meeting materials are available here.  In January of 2014 we’ll announce the date of the public webinar where participants can learn what was discussed.

Thank you for your interest in EPA’s study of the potential impacts of hydraulic fracturing on drinking water resources.
