Brace Yourself: Record Production of Natural Gas Expected in West Virginia Next Year

The Independent Oil and Gas Association of West Virginia held a meeting in Charleston on Thursday.

Among discussion topics were the high production expectations for Marcellus drilling in West Virginia, beginning next year, and why Chesapeake Energy CEO Aubry McClendon no longer “loves” West Virginia.  He had some intriguing things to say about the state’s government and people. Colorado is getting alot of interest in drilling for oil due to a successful oil play in the Niobrara shale formation. Thanks for keeping all of us informed of what to expect out here. Ben
