by Duane Nichols on September 15, 2019

Opposition to the MVP continues

Reject the MVP Southgate Project & Sign the petition!

From Friends of Buckingham County VA, September 10, 2019

The deadline is Monday September 16. Send your message to FERC today!

The Mountain Valley Pipeline (MVP) is facing mounting legal setbacks and construction of the project is harming land, people, and animals. Instead of abandoning this dangerous and harmful project, Mountain Valley is trying to expand it!

The pipeline company is trying to push through a 73-mile extension into North Carolina. Tell the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to reject the MVP Southgate expansion!

Chesapeake Climate Action Network, CCAN, has prepared a letter to FERC for you. Please click here, read more, add your comments and sign!

Photos above and below near Yellow Finch treesit in Elliston, south of Roanoke by Heidi Dhivya. Do these mountains look like a rational place to put a 24” or 42” fracked gas pipeline to you?

Land slides & stream pollution occur with pipelines on steep slopes
