Visual Assessment Training Workshop in Washington, PA

The Marcellus Citizen Stewardship Project will host a visual assessment training for citizens in Washington, PA on January 27, 2011.  Topics covered include permitting and regulations, air and water pollution, the use of the FracTracker data platform, filing a complaint, and safety.  Once participants have completed this training there will be additional opportunities for air and water monitoring instruction.  A copy of the 80-page Visual Assessment Manual is provided; this resource contains the protocol for logging and reporting information. RSVP’s are not required, however, space is limited— first come, first served.  For more information please contact Veronica Coptis at veronica@mtwatershed.com or 724-455-4200.
