After we succeeded in keeping the dirty deal off the base text for the NDAA that the House is likely to send to the Senate, Manchin dropped the latest version of his dirty deal. It’s largely the same as the last, except it’s even more fossil-fuel friendly. It tightens deadlines for environmental review and ensures even more of the priority projects to be expedited are fossil fuels.
