Ok, so we are now banning oil from Russia. From what I hear we get maybe 3 to 10% of our oil from Russia which I cannot understand. For several years now we have been the number one exporter of oil so why would we need to import oil from anywhere?

Now they want to ramp up freaking fracking in the U.S. Doesn’t seem to matter how dangerous that is to the folks living around those sites. We should be ramping up clean energy sources and stopping our dependance on fossil fuels. We can also drive a lot less.

But no, we want cheap gas no matter what the cost or how we get it. The R’s really pushed for this ban and now are ramping up blaming the high prices on Biden. No one person drives the prices of energy.

These companies run on the capitalist idea of capitalizing on the misery of regular folks. They have plenty of money to pay their CEO’s and shareholders outrageous amounts of money and raise their price of gas and oil so that we have to pay for it.
