This series of five articles is very well written with incredible detail. I’m finding these articles as references for continued usage. This Virginia Mercury news service is free and quite comprehensive of current topics about Virginia.

For West Virginia, our long standing nrewpapers need our support as their survival is currently on the line.

Let’s also support the other sources that function in the public interest —

1. Mountain State Spotlight, our new state-wide Internet based news service...

2. Ohio River Valley Institute, a new regional analysis, information and advocacy group ....

3. West Virginia Center on Budget & Policy, an established entity providing in-depth analysis & advice ...

4. Appalachian Mountain Advocates, an independent lawyer group working on energy & environment.

5. Let’s not forget OVEC, Sierra Club, WV Environmental Council, and FracTrakker.

It is essential that we support all of these organizations. Duane Nichols

Interesting series, even if it does focus on another state. Think we'll ever see something like this in WV?
