		<description>&lt;strong&gt;Some 13,000 Comment on Adequacy of the NWP 12 Program for the ACP &amp; MVP&lt;/strong&gt;

Allegheny Blue Ridge Alliance (ABRA), June 21, 2018

The request of the Virginia State Water Control Board for input from the public on the sufficiency of the U.S. Army Corps NWP 12 permit program for stream crossings of the Mountain Valley Pipeline (MVP) and the Atlantic Coast Pipeline (ACP) produced an outpouring of comments.

The Department of Environmental Protection told ABRA that by the June 15 comment deadline, over 13,000 opinions were provided, as follows: 7,100 emails on the ACP, 2,600 emails on the MVP, and 3,500 letters and cards related to the ACP and/or MVP.
