		<description>This permit does nothing positive for WV water, which is and will be our greatest resource in an increasingly thirsty world.

		<description>&lt;strong&gt;Atlantic Coast Pipeline

Regulators issue &#039;Letter of Disapproval&#039; for Atlantic Coast Pipeline; Not a rejection, ACP says&lt;/strong&gt;

&gt;&gt;&gt; Lauren K. Ohnesorge, Triangle Business Journal, November 7, 2017

The N.C. Department of Environmental Quality wants more information from Duke Energy and Dominion Energy on the Atlantic Coast Pipeline.

The utilities behind the Atlantic Coast Pipeline have hit another potential delay with the N.C. Department of Environmental Quality.

ACP spokesman Aaron Ruby confirmed Tuesday that Dominion Energy and Duke Energy received two more information requests from NCDEQ, this time related to the project’s erosion and sedimentation control permit.

Ruby clarified that, despite the fact that the documents are called &quot;letters of disapproval,&quot; they don&#039;t constitute a rejection by the agency.

“The agency has stated very clearly that it has not denied our permit,” he said in an email to Triangle Business Journal. “A ‘Letter of Disapproval’ is simply the mechanism the agency uses to request information or make procedural notifications.”
