		<description>The guy was crushed to death and the &quot;proposed&quot; penalty was $13,550.  If a soldier was killed in WWII his family received $10,000 &quot;insurance.&quot;  That is worth $131,443.89 in today&#039;s money, for comparison.  

Don&#039;t you love that &quot;proposed&quot; penalty thing!  Corporations get to haggle penalties, but real people don&#039;t (at least at the level of the author and most of the readers).  One more reason why corporations aren&#039;t real people!</description>
