Tuesday, March 10, 2015 -- &quot;Solar industry unfairly being singled out&quot;:

Thank you for running Bill Howley’s well reasoned op-ed (March 5) explaining why HB 2201 is harmful to West Virginia’s young and growing solar business sector. The bill creates potential for net metered solar power producers to be singled out for special fees and penalties, which at present is illegal. Just the rumor of such a bill can deter further investment in home and small business solar systems, harming the companies that create and install these sustainable systems that lower operations and maintenance costs. West Virginians from every corner of West Virginia have urged Gov. Tomblin to veto this law. I hope our people will continue to voice opposition to it, and that the governor will listen.
