I think road accidents may be one of the most serious claims against the fracking industry by the public.

There is another that is very serious, though, which is little thought about. The fatality rate in the industry is about 6 times the over all fatality rate of all industry. The number that have to drop out from chemical injury is unknown, due to the fact they simply disappear out of the work force. Many are forced to work excessive hours (a big reason for the road accident problem). Unless the symptoms become overwhelming on the job the employee is pretty much on their own.

There is no one to look out for them, no universal union, no OSHA, they just come and go on their own. (I suppose those in some specializations, at some places, and thus belong to a union, have some measure of protection.)

There is not justice for the workers on the frack jobs, so far as I know!
