She actually voted for amendments twice to weaken the Water Protection bill by cutting financial support for water protection programs. She also voted to allow dangerous drilling wastes into landfills (including one upstream of Morgantown’s drinking water intake). Fitch once had one of the better pro-environment records in the state House, and she probably thinks she still does. But facts matter.
