Due to imminent threat of fracking up my narrow rock based road in West Virginia, I have contemplated moving to Garrett or Allegheny County in Maryland. However, this report makes me quite wary of such a move - it could be "out of the fire and into the frying pan".

Good people I know here in West Virginia who have fracking pads and other fracking buildings near them have lost their property values, cannot sell their homes, are frequently assaulted with firing up of the residue gas, noise, ruined roads, home water unfit for human consumption and health problems related to the air and other pollutants liberally distributed around areas of marcellus shale drilling.

When will we be able to recognize human rights above the greed of a few? When will people have the same rights as corporations do?
