There is no such thing as sustainable shale development. The COP 19 Climate Conference in Warsaw this year began as the Philippines was devastated by Typhoon Haiyan, a record-breaking typhoon. Countries are experiencing severe weather- droughts, floods, hurricanes, typhoons and as water levels rise, coastal areas and island nations are being innundated. Water and food are fast becoming issues in many places. And all scientists (minus the paid doubt-sowers) agree that we are in a crisis of temperature rise that needs to be stopped now. Continuing with fossil fuel is NOT sustainable. It is fool hardy. And for the few who are profiting, they are blindly destroying the future of their own children and grandchildren.
