I see all these trucks hauling contaminated water. They are labeled "Residual Waste." This only tells me that it's bad stuff, but what is in it? I have heard about "salts" like chlorides and bromides. The metals are some of the really bad actors? If FrackCheck can do an article about the chemicals in frack waste water, that would be appreciated. Tell me if anyone knows just how much radioactive material is in the water from Marcellus shale drilling?

This is typical industry...ahh, shall we say, dissimulation. It's literally true for alpha particles, but the huge energy is dissipated in one's skin, not deeper organs. No one should think it has no effect. Beta penetrates more, but not as much as gamma radiation. Children are more susceptible.
