He said that the production curves of the shale gas wells decline rapidly in three to five years but may continue some production for decades.  He expects more attention to the Utica shale in Ohio, but this is deeper than the Marcellus shale.  He said that the interest in the Genesse and Burkett shales is due to their being Upper Devonian (less deep) compared to the Middle Devonian shale we know as the Marcellus. DGN</description>
