Having lived in Dryden, New York, for 25 years, we can attest to the QUALITY of the natural environment there. Rolling terrain with mostly farms, dairy cattle, with a background of beautiful large hills not far from Cayuga Lake. This is Tompkins County, NY.

The Native Americans recognized the quality of life here, as they maintained permanent villages within this area, in peace. The Five Nations enjoyed this and the surrounding "towns," equivalent to townships in Pennsylvania or districts in WV.

The ancient ice glacier movement carved out a most inviting landscape. Such a peaceful and scenic area can hardly be found elsewhere. Who does not want to protect such attractive surroundings?

PLUS, let's not consume all our natural gas in one generation. Hopefully the earth will be around for a few more thousand of years? AND, maybe in ten or twenty years the technology will exist to do horizontal drilling and/or fracking in an environmentally friendly manner. AND, renewable energy will be cheap and plentiful.
