What I notice is that these companies that talk about being energy voters, and energy independence, are destroying other parts of economy as well. What I am seeing is by exporting natural gas and providing a large energy source to countries like China, you're destroying manufacturing jobs in the United States. Once the other countries get an abundant energy source, the steel, plastics, and many other industries are directly impacted. And, the only people once again getting rich are the oil/gas industry.

I hate that people in our country that have had these farms in the family for generations, will continue to have less quality of life, polluted land, air, and water so the Chinese can make steel cheaper than ever and hurt our economy even more. They are fighting so hard over leases, hydrualic fracturing, drilling, and shale play after shale play. The investors and executives in the gas industry are manipulating America and destroying our country piece by piece, lease by lease.

I thought the reason for destroying all of this land, water, air and life itself here in America was to achieve energy independence and release us from the evil oil of others. So why export such a great thing. Sounds like its all about profits and has very little about energy independence. More lies by the industry.
