CHEVRON is a large company, ranking 8th worldwide bringing in $245 billion in revenues in 2011, according to the July 23, 2012 issue of FORTUNE magazine. Seven of the top ten are in the oil and gas business including ROYAL DUTCH SHELL, ranking number one with $484 billion in revenues last year, basically twice as much as CHEVRON. EXXON-MOBIL is number two, with $453 billion in revenues. All these companies are involved with Marcellus natural gas and the "wet gas" components. Each had over 25% growth in revenues in the last year.
