		<description>And what about the people who mine the sand and transport it to the well sites?  What about the people who live near the sand mines and have to breathe it in the air 24/7?  Esswein also stated that the silica sand that is used invades the lungs and its effects are irreversible.  The only way to protect those exposed to this fine sand in the air is to wear a respirator designed to filter it out.</description>
