“Who’s Gonna Stand Up?” — Neil Young, 2014

Protect the wild, Tomorrow’s child, Protect the land, From the greed of man …

Take down the dams, Stand up to oil, Protect the plants, And renew the soil …
.

Who’s gonna stand up and save the earth?
Who’s gonna say that she’s had enough?
Who’s gonna take on the big machine?
Who’s gonna stand up and save the earth?

This all starts with you and me!

Damn the dams, Save the rivers, Starve the takers, And feed the givers

Build a dream, Save the world, We’re the people, Known as Earth

Who’s gonna stand up and save the earth?
Who’s gonna say that she’s had enough?
Who’s gonna take on the big machine?
Who’s gonna stand up and save the earth?

This all starts with you and me!

Ban fossil fuels, Draw the line, Before we build One more pipeline

Ban fracking now, Save the waters, And build a life, For our sons and daughters

Who’s gonna stand up and save the earth?
Who’s gonna say that she’s had enough?
Who’s gonna take on the big machine?
Who’s gonna stand up and save the earth?

This all starts with you and me!

Who’s gonna stand up, Who’s gonna stand up, Who’s gonna stand up, Who’s gonna stand up …

Who’s gonna stand up!

I watched Farmaid 2014. Neil followed up with Renew Sustain and End the Pain.

Please check out Pete Seeger Farmaid 2013. I was there with my wife and friends. Pete wrote a new verse to This Land Is Your Land. The verse went “New York is your home, New York is my home, from the upstate mountains to the ocean foam, with so many different people they may say we’re polycrome, but NEW YORK WAS MADE TO STAY FRACK FREE.

The crowd went crazy and Pete was 94. It was such a privilege to see one of his last performances. R.I.P. Pete and God Bless all the guys at Farmaid for keeping American farmers going. It’s not about factory farming. It’s about our communities, our food and our way of life.

Check out Pete Seeger Farmaid 2013 it was great.

This video is thrilling! Neil Young is an amazing song writer and performer.

He has always been on the front lines of the movement.

I have great respect for him. So glad he took this on.

Thank you, Neil! You Rock!
